Conversion to edible garden planters

We love to convert ornamental planters into edible ones, often repurposing the existing automated irrigation. These provide the most convenient ways for residents to access growing food, as they are often build within feet of residents’ front door.

Residents conveniently open their front doors and access leafy greens and spices to harvest for their daily dishes.

The planters are mostly made of concrete, which is terrific at insulating the soils and have existing irrigation that we can redirect. The soil is tested and/or replaced
